Website data handling

The optional Web desktop is the Kyntrix OS Mk 1 web shell. It uses session storage, when available, to remember that you passed its start screen in the current tab. Settings you choose there (motion, contrast, text size and click sounds) are saved in local storage on this device. Reset to defaults in Settings removes them. Browser facts displayed by the shell, such as screen size and processor count, are not sent to Kyntrix. The contribution planner runs in your browser; its profile is not submitted to Kyntrix.

Accounts and essential cookies

An account is required before starting a preorder. Sign in with Google shares your Google account identifier, verified email address and display name with Kyntrix. We keep those details and an internal account ID to associate your preorder records. We do not collect your Google password or keep Google access tokens. Google handles the sign-in and its privacy policy applies.

Essential secure cookies keep you signed in for up to seven days, protect the sign-in for up to ten minutes, and bind your browser to its Square checkout for up to two hours. These cookies are required for account security and checkout verification. The server stores hashes of the random session identifiers. Sign out removes your current session.

Preorders and Square

After sign-in, a unique Square checkout is linked to your internal account ID and selected product. Square collects and processes payment information under its own terms and consumer privacy notice. Kyntrix does not collect card numbers on this website.

We retain checkout references, product, amount, currency, creation time and payment verification status so you can view your preorder and we can provide support. A payment is marked verified after the server checks it with Square. Returning to this website or opening checkout is not proof of payment. Keep your Square receipt, especially if you do not return here after payment. Account creation alone does not authorize future billing. Each preorder requires a separate, unchecked authorization to store a card with Square and charge one exact remaining balance when that product is ready: $75 for OS or AI, or $125 for the combo, after the $25 credited deposit.

Saved cards and billing authorization

Square securely stores card details. Kyntrix retains encrypted Square customer and card references, consent wording version and acceptance time, billing status, and limited card metadata (brand, last four digits and expiry) to identify the authorized card. Card numbers and security codes are collected in Square checkout or Square-hosted secure card fields and are not submitted to the Kyntrix backend.

You can withdraw future billing for a preorder from My account before a charge starts. Withdrawal blocks future balance charges through this authorization and requests that Square disable that saved card. It does not automatically refund an earlier payment; email support for a full refund before delivery. See billing terms.

Optional Google Ads measurement

Ad measurement is off by default and is separate from signing in and paying. The preorder and checkout return pages let you allow or decline it. Your choice is stored in session storage in this tab with the consent wording version. If you decline, the Google Ads library is not loaded by these pages and they do not send conversion events to Google.

If you allow measurement, the Google Ads tag may use advertising cookies to connect your visit with an ad. Google receives technical information such as IP address and browser information. Only a payment verified by the server can generate a purchase event, containing the amount actually paid, currency and transaction ID. We do not send your account email, display name or card details to Google. Personalized advertising and Google Analytics storage remain disabled. You can change the choice on the preorder or checkout return page. Declining after allowing reloads the page to stop the loaded tag and removes accessible first-party Google conversion cookies. You can also clear site data through your browser. Withdrawal does not remove data already sent to Google.

Hosting, fonts and video

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and stores account and checkout records in the site's backend database. Hosting may process IP addresses and request logs. The website fonts are served from this website; loading them does not send a request to Google Fonts. The Dev Demo is served from this website; its optional Google Drive link connects you to Google.

Retention and support

Account and preorder records are kept while needed to fulfill preorders, provide support and meet recordkeeping obligations. To ask about access, corrections or deletion, email kyntrixaios@gmail.com. Some transaction records may need to be retained. If you email support, Kyntrix receives your message and any order details you include.
